Cherry Lime Parfait QP

Have insomnia tonight so I thought I would do something productive and made another quickpage for you. But first I have to share a prayer request. Please say a prayer for my Grandma Mary. She was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday for breathing difficulties. Later that night, she had to be put on a respirator. The first diagnosis from the lung specialist looked good because they thought it was just pneumonia. She was also seen by a heart specialist on Thursday who said she has a leak around her heart but that they couldn't treat that until the infections in her lungs cleared up. Today, however, the lung specialist came in to see her again with the results of her tests and told her that she has blood clots in her lungs and that she was lucky to be alive because most people with that condition it is instantly fatal. (Yeah - no need to upset an ailing woman or anything!). So we are waiting as they determine the best course of treatment. She has been off the respirator since Friday afternoon and is only on oxygen now so at least that is good. Thanks in advance for your prayers and now on to the reason you stopped by . . .

This was created using Cherry Lime Parfait by Anita Designs. Aren't these colors perfect together?

Here is the layout I made the quickpage from.

In reading your Feb 13 request for ideas, hopefully this is before your taught class and if not maybe will be of help for a future one. I wish I had known more about some of the programs out there for digital scrapping. How much you can do with some of the more in depth programs like Paint Shop Pro and how easy some of the more basic ones are like Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook program. I started out with the CK one then fell in love with MS DIP 10 and now am trying to learn PSP X2, and there are a lot of differences between them all. I also feel the knowledge of printing the pages is important. I use an Epson CX5000 and print only 8.5x11 to be able to print easily at home. I love the quality of the Durabright ink and it is the only one I have found in that price range that I can hold under running water and the ink not run off the page. I also like the 'Krylon Gloss Preserve It Digital Photo and Paper Protectant'. I wish I had known how much easier digital scrapping is before I piled up such a large collection of paper scrapping tools and supplies. Hope this helps some, have a great day!
