I think we have all been touched by the devastation in Haiti last month. I had the opportunity to join with designers throughout the digiworld to create a collab with the proceeds going the support Compassion International's efforts in the rebuilding of Haiti. You can read about Compassion's disaster relief efforts here.

This kit contains over 2 GB of scrapping supplies. (Not all shown.)

You can pick this kit up from either Divine Digital or Scrapbook-Bytes for only $8. This was my contribution.

After you pick up this spectacular kit, I would also encourage you to support another charity near and dear to me in their recovery effots for Haiti, The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army has several children's homes in Haiti and has had a ministry there for decades. While they often operate behind the scenes and aren't usually quick to jump in the public eye during disasters, The Salvation Army has an amazing disaster services outreach. My husband has had the opportunity to work direclty with them on one of their mobile canteens serving meals to those in need on a few occasions and spent a month on the golf coast helping out following Hurricane Katrina. It really is amazing to see the difference providing basic supplies that we so often take for granted can make in someone's life during times like this.

White Chocolate Alpha Freebie & A La Carte

Happy Valentines Day! I have a new addiction that is sure to add a few pounds to my waist. I have always loved white chocolate but several months ago someone gave me a Lindt White Chocolate Truffle and I was hooked from the first bit. So in honor of my new addiction, I made a white chocolate alpha for you for Valentine's Day. Download it here.

It coordinates with my Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Latte Alphas which are part of the new Al La Carte (mix and match) section at Plain Digital Wrapper. They are on sale for the rest of February for $1.50 each.

Here are a few layouts I did with some of the A La Carte offerings by Southern Creek Designs. The papers in these mini kits are just gorgeous!

New Templates and Creme Center QP Freebie

We are snowed in; expecting another 10 or 15 inches on top of the 34 we got last week. Yay! I don't have to go to work and we have power still so I am loving it. Although, I wasn't loving it as much yesterday when it took me an hour and 45 minutes to travel 30 miles to work.

Wanna these awesome CU Tears for free? Go to Plain Digital Wrapper, sign up in the forum and complete one challenge and we can both win them. Just make sure you mentioned that you were referred by Scraps of Candy when you post your layout for the challenge.

My new template pack is on sale now for only $2.

I love seeing what people do with my templates. These two were made by Carole.

This gorgeous one was made by DJ.

I did manage to get one layout done last week at the Friday Night Speed Scrap at Gotta Pixel. (Thanks, Connie Prince!)

This was made using Romantic Blues by Alexis Designs.

It is been awhile since I did a quickpage for you and I really liked this layot so I thought I would share it with you. It was made using Creme Centers by Julie. It is. Enjoy! Download here. It looks like the coordinated freebie for Creme Centers is still active on her blog too. The word art in it would go perfectly with this quickpage!

Happy Scrapping!

Layout Share

Can someone tell me where the heck January went??? I seem to always be running behind lately. I had good intentions to start blogging again and even making freebies for you but I just can't seem to find enough hours in the day lately. I am hoping for a blog-productive February!

My son was student of the week this week. We were supposed to send in a parent letter about him. I did a scrapbook page to send in instead. :)

(Created using Boy @ Play and Boy @ Play2 both by Julie. It is.)

I have also gotten a few new layouts done for baby girl's first year album. This was for the January Talk to Me! (Journal Challenge) at Plain Digital Wrapper. I think I might see a template conversion in this layout's future. ;)

I managed to stop by the speed scrap at Gotta Pixel that was hosted by Connie Prince last week. I must say that Connie does a great job hosting. I have been to some chats where they don't even recognize when new people enter the room but Connie really made me feel welcomed. Here is my layout. It wasn't really the title I had in mind but the last step in the speed scrap was to use one of three words we were given in the title so I had to improvise a little.

(Color My World Red by Connie Prince)

Here a few others I have gotten done.

(Creme Centers by Julie. It is.) Hope on over to her blog for this awesome coordinating mini kit. Go quickly though because I am not sure how much longer it will be up.) :)

(Wintershine by Julie. It is.)

While you are checking out sites, you might want to check out Alexis Designs too. She is one of the guest designers at Plain Digital Wrapper this month and I am truly in awe of her beautiful stuff. Be sure to stop by her blog because I saw a few freebies up there as well.

Happy scrapping!
